Ok, so this is waayy, way overdue, but such is life, right? We were finally able to get together for Steph's birthday lunch at Uppercrust. Everyone (except mare) was able to make it, and we missed you Mare! We had fun getting together, everyone has been super busy since school started, and we all agreed we need ALOT more girl time, so see you all next month ladies :)

Yard Sale for a China Doll
Calling all extraordinary housewives or ordinary housewives or just housewives or even houseboys... Marianne is having a garage sale to raise money to bring her new addition home to Burley. We are having the sale on Saturday, July 18 at 1121 E 17th St in Burley (Lana's old residence).
So we really need you to dejunk (hurry, you only have one day) and bring all of your "treasures" to the house. We will price them and put them out on Friday evening or you are more than welcome to drop them off on Saturday. Also, if you would like to patron the sale, we do have some really nice stuff. ALL of the money goes to save the Chinese. Well, not exactly but it does go to the orphanage where Marianne is getting her baby. Every little bit helps as a small amount of money goes a long way over in China.
We would also love some baked goods as most garage sale buyers are hungry and need some fuel and nourishment. So if you don't have any special junk to donate, make some junk food and bring it over. We usually make a killing on the treats.
We will be having a PARTY so don't miss out!
Leave a comment if you are willing to help. Again, every little bit helps.
Call me with any questions.
-Lana

New Baby
Congrats to our friend on her baby bundle yesterday!! :) From what I hear Jen was quite the wonder woman , making it look easy to deliver a baby. I don't know how many kids this makes for our little group but I do know with the addition of Slade, Ava, and the next Shirley, it is ALOT. Wow, baby making women we are. Who's next?.............................I will go 1st, my bet is on Emily......we really should put some money down and see who guesses who

No Rest for the Weary (or is it Wicked???)

Despite her best efforts, Jen is officially on bed rest for the duration... She did great though, and hopefully will only have to endure 3 weeks of "rest" (which of course means keeping her other kids fed, occupied and happy from the comfort of her couch...). Her ward is bringing in some meals, but it would be helpful for her to have some FREEZER MEALS to fill in where her ward leaves off. SO... if you want to just drop something off to her, or bring some Taco Bandido (ok, they should seriously buy advertising from us...) I'm sure she would appreciate it. You can also call me (Adria) to make arrangements to get dinners to her. Whatever would be great!

Calling all Movers (and shakers)

Me and my stuff.
Well, it's officially here.
The Gibbons (not to be confused with Emma) are moving on Saturday, May 23rd. What an exciting, stressful and somewhat sad day. I will be home (thanks so much to Amy Young and Tami and Madi Taylor who are taking care of Emma) Wednesday evening. Thursday will start the festivities! We (I'm using the word "we" hoping that YOU will include yourself) will be packing the house pretty much full time Thursday and Friday. Anyone who wants to stop by and have a pack party... feel free (even if you only have a couple of minutes, new blood is always good).
This looks so real to me and somewhat familiar... it's scary.
Saturday we will be moving into the new house. Anyone with trucks, trailers, muscles or pom poms (for cheering) are welcome to be there. Again, even if you only have a few minutes to spare, I'll take it. I'm desperate and concerned because as you know I have so much "stuff." Needless to say, stuff I love, or is it, I love stuff?
Any questions you can leave a comment or give me a call.
-Lana
